We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cell Packaging Lead to join our team and oversee the packaging process of our battery cells.

Job Summary:
The Cell Packaging Lead will be responsible for managing the packaging operations of battery cells on a laboratory scale, ensuring high quality and efficiency. This role involves overseeing the packaging team, developing coin and pouch packaging processes specific to solid-state batteries, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in battery cell packaging and a strong background in manufacturing processes.





Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the cell packaging team, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and implement coin and pouch packaging processes and procedures to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Oversee the implementation and design of required equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to optimize packaging designs and processes.
  • Monitor and analyze packaging performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of packaging processes and performance metrics.
  • Manage packaging inventory and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in battery cell packaging or a similar role.
  • Understanding and interpretation of battery performance metrics.
  • Strong knowledge of battery packaging materials, equipment, and processes.
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Strong computer skills.
